Judith's Professional Background

I grew up in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry. I qualified as a General Nurse in the U.K. (1999) and subsequently spent the next four years working as a General Nurse in hospitals in London, Edinburgh and Australia and also as a General Practitioner's Nurse.

In 2002 I decided to further my medical career by studying Osteopathy. While studying at the European School of Osteopathy (E.S.O.) in Kent, I gained practical experience in Structural, Functional, Cranial and Visceral Osteopathy.

In 2006 I graduated as a registered Osteopath obtaining a BSc. Honours Degree in Osteopathy. I am registered with the Osteopathic Council of Ireland and the General Osteopathic Council (G.Os.C.) which regulates my profession.

After qualifying in Kent I returned home and worked as an Associate Osteopath in Cork city.

I regularly attend Professional Development seminars in Osteopathy the most recent being 'Cranial Osteopathy for Newborns and the Expectant Mother', 'Diagnosising and treating shoulder complains' and 'Sports Injuries of the Lower Limb'.

I currently operate my own Practice in two locations - Mallow in Co. Cork and Ballybunion in Co. Kerry.

At the European School of Osteopathy, I gained experience in the practice of structural, functional, visceral, and cranial osteopathy, and I am able to offer my patients an integrated form of treatment which includes structural work, deep soft tissue massage, manipulation, visceral mobilisation, lymphatic drainage, cranial osteopathy, exercises and postural advice.
